WA School Chess League is an annual interschool chess competition brought to you by the Chess Association of WA


All the information about the tournaments you can find on this website. General principles of the SCL:

  • any public or private school of WA can participate in any number of qualification tournaments

  • top-performing teams are invited to the finals

  • state champions are invited to represent WA in Australian Schools’ Teams Chess Championships (ASTC)
